SUSTAINABILITY
Chora’s understanding of sustainability is rooted in a craftsmanship tradition that has been passed down through generations.
Our atelier was founded many years ago by our grandfather. Today, my uncles and I continue his legacy, carrying this heritage forward and bringing it to a new level. Over time, the culture of making and the knowledge developed in our atelier led us to create a brand that reflects our story and values. Chora was born from this idea, a journey that transforms our atelier culture and craftsmanship into a brand narrative.
All of our products are produced in our own atelier. From the design stage to the final steps of production, every part of the process takes place under the same roof. This approach allows us to closely oversee the quality of our work while shaping our production processes in line with our values.
For us, sustainability is not only about environmental responsibility, but also about a human centered approach to production. Creating a fair and respectful working environment, where craftsmanship is valued and people’s working lives are supported and improved, is one of our core priorities.
We believe in building a long term and sustainable business model. This perspective allows us to maintain the quality of our production while preserving and passing on our craftsmanship tradition to future generations.
At Chora, every product is more than a design object. It is the result of patience, experience and collective craftsmanship. Our atelier culture teaches us not only how to make, but also how to take responsibility and create lasting value.
